The Karate Pig is now out! Please let me know what you think if you see it.
After a long break from animating, I have begun scripting for the Karate pig prequel!
Recently, I have decided to cancel the Karate Pig Prequel. Instead, for the last couple of weeks, I have been working on a new Minecraft animation called Farming 101. I have already finished scripting and storyboarding, and I am currently in the production phase. Here's a photo:
This one was a test photo; a close-up of Steve standing near a cave.
Please let me know what you think.

This looks really nice! I love the set design!
Looks really good! I love the shot!
Thanks! Because of Christmas break, I have had more time to work on this film. Here is another shot:
This one was definitely fun as I got to practice motion blur for the first time. In the final footage of the shot, you may not even notice the motion blur, but it can be truly appreciated when you look closely.
I just noticed a typo. My new animation is actually called Farming 101
Farming 101 has now been released!
After a long break from animating, I have recently been dabbling in it once again. Not long before the bricksinmotion contest SHAC, I started working on a new Minecraft animation I am calling Minecraft: Treasure Hunt. This animation is currently in the production phase and I have actually finished most of the shots in the short. The reason I didn't post progress sooner was because I wanted to make sure I was happy with the results of the filming. Here's a frame from one of my favorite shots so far. It doesn't look particularly impressive, but I did manage to learn some new(ish) camera movements.
Edit: Wow, this thread is old. I have been making Minecraft animations for 3+ years!

I have finished production on Minecraft: Treasure Hunt! I am now working on post-production.
Unfortunately, I have been pretty delayed on this film. I am about 3/4 of the way through editing though. I should be able to continue editing fairly soon.
And finally, about a year and a half later, I have finished "Minecraft: Treasure Hunt"! You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m7FpPdwYkw
I lost most of my motivation in finishing this project back in 2019, but recently decided it was about time I finished editing the short. All I needed to do was add a few more sound effects, so doing that was pretty simple. I haven't actually physically animated anything since 2019, so I am still not sure whether I will get back into brickfilming or not. Either way, I'm glad I was able to preserve this brickfilm since it was on the hard drive of an old computer of mine that is about to become obsolete.
Cool! Props to you for actually finishing an old project!
