The movie was just how I hoped it would be. really, really funny. but the ending pissed me the f**** off.

I bet it was, when I went to see Skyfall and the trailer for it showed I was laughing throughout the entire thing. Still wouldn't dare go see it though...

District B13 (2004)
Wow, I was happy about how it was all executed and just the development of the story. I didn't expect too much from this movie, but I wanted to watch it because it has David Belle in it. I think they pulled it all off pretty well. The only downside for me was the excessive swearing. Sometimes I thought I was playing CoD with a 12 year old. mini/lol
Other than that, 'twas a good movie filled with tons of action. 8/10 (For swearing/cussing/profanity).

Skyfall

It was a great movie. Very long however it was funny at some parts there was one creepy part and a lot of ACTION!
Now if you want to know a spoiler

This is the first movie it is before all the others

I give it a 10/10 (Great movie)

Turner & Hooch

I enjoyed the movie a lot. Very funny, but sad at end.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Tomorrow When the War Began

Filmed right here in Australia, and based on the book by John Marsden. I enjoyed the movie, however having read the books, I noticed a substantial amount the movie missed. The main reason I enjoyed it was that it gave me a definite image for the books, which was different to what I imagined. Also, the actors were great. I really believe they selected the correct cast for the job.

The only put off, was the difference to the book. At some points, because of what they left out, I was questioning where they were up to. Recommended watch if you haven't read the books, but you aren't missing much if you have read the books.

7/10.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I decided to have me a little Pixar marathon.

Up (2009)

I think this is an excellent film, probably my favorite of all the Pixar films. However, I always cry at the beginning where

Toy Story 3 (2010)

I don't know why I was hating on the film in earlier times. I think it's just that I was disappointed with  how the ending played out, with

Andy giving his toys to Bonnie, and then driving off.

I don't know, it's just I grew up with the originals. And I just think they could have thought of a better way for it to end. Anyways, the film was okay, now that I've given it a few years before watching it again.

9/10

Ratatouille (2007)

Probably my third favorite Pixar movie (my second is Wall-E), because I'm nerdy and loved the cinematography. The angles, the "swish" cams (where the screen seems to fly through the air); I just really enjoyed that bit most of all. But, it's still a really good movie. I always laugh at

Well, actually (although I don't really think it's a spoiler)

Spoiler (click to read)

all the bond movies with Daniel Craig are prequels to the others. So, Skyfall is the third.

Actually no, this is a plot hole btw in Skyfall cause I know they are supposed to be prequels but they MENTION earlier Bond movies in the film.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

It would also be a plot hole that he has 44 years, or that the films takes place in 2012. You're over examinating this thing. After all, Lazenby said in his only bond movie "This never happened to the other fellow. ".

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

What? no, you're completely off. Casino Royale started as Bond's first mission and then continued with the failed Quantom of Solace and now Skyfall... but the thing is, they mention events that occured to Bond in earlier Bond films, HUGE plot hole

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I know...that's what I was referring to. I'd say let's not turn this into a 007 Discussion thread.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

One last thing also because they always say moneypenny but in skyfall bond said "we have never meet properly before"

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009)

Oh my.... mini/lol
I laughed more at this movie than I have since I don't know when. Steve was by far the best part, but nearly every character had their moments of hilarity. There were only a handful of crude jokes, which made it better than much of Despicable Me's humor. I didn't care for "Baby Brent's" choice of outfit, and while I can see how some might think it's funny, by the end of the movie it had gotten really old.

Since that was my worst complaint, and the rest of the movie was great, it gets a score of:

8/10

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Guys, Casino Royale was a reboot. It's not like that series has ever been overly concerned with continuity, anyhow.

Just one quick question. So if it's a reboot, how come they mention Bonds earlier missions from other movies? That series should try to keep atleast some kind of continuity, atleast the new Craig Bond movies

Well, can't Craig's Bond go to the cinema and watch some good old classics? Stop trying to find plot holes that are not there.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I don't recall those particular references, but they could simply be construed as past off-screen happenings, I suppose.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Films are, after all, fully entitled to their selection of Easter eggs and in-jokes.

I don't make Brickfilms. I trade virtual hats.

I'm not "trying" to find plot holes, these ARE plot holes if these Craig movies are reboots/prequels (like Casino Royale confirms they are), otherwise how would you explain this?

Madagascar 3: Europe Most Wanted

This film was predictable, kind of funny some times and weird.
I really liked the first one somehow, kind of liked the second one, this one maaay be better than the second one but i'm not entierly sure. I hardly even remember anything from the second movie (obviously because I didn't think it was that good), but I do remember the first one very well because that was probably the first Dreamworks Animation movie I bought on DVD cause I liked it that much (Not a fan of Shrek btw).
I don't have alot to say about this one though. it's very predictable plot point after plot point to the point were it gets really annoying somewhat.

Spoiler (click to read)

The best thing about it was that they kind of cancelled out the probability of there being a fourth one.
