Just saw Sherlock Holmes. Downey Jr is brilliant, as is the film's plot, and it's just as I remember the books. Can't wait for the sequel next year!

Also, I'm probably going to see Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time tomorrow. I played the game, and that was quite good, so I'd be interested to see what the film's like. It's either that or The Losers.

Well, tomorrow as yesterday, and I have now seen Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Spoiler (click to read)

Just in case you didn't know, I watch a LOT of movies.

Toy Story

Man, this movie just gets better with time. It's aged like a fine wine... Er, I wouldn't know, because I've never had wine, but it's a nice sounding metaphor.

Let it be known that the "flying" sequence at the end is so awesome and, yes, heartwarming, it gave me chills. The good kind of chills.

Now try watching all six, plus watching The Clone Wars and playing The Force Unleashed in their respective places amongst the saga. Took me and a friend two days (we got stuck on the Kazdan Paratus level).

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
It was my first time seeing it, and I was amazed. For a low budget horror movie, this movie scared me scene after scene. The lighting and cinematography were great and the little dance Leatherface did at the end just creeped me out. Fantastic movie.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)
It was a great thriller. Way better than the recent remake with John Trovolta.

Man on Fire
Amazing.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Vertigo
The best mystery film in cinema history, no doubt. Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Really good. Robert Redford and Paul Newman are perfect together.

Kindergarten Cop

"There will be no more going to the bathroom. THERE IS NO BATHROOM!!"

All I really can say is that I wish Arnold Schwarzenegger was MY Kindergarten teacher (though I'm surprised the little kids didn't burst into tears whenever Arnie yelled at them). The plot isn't fantastic, but that's not the point - its just a fun little flick (apart from when he straight up EXECUTES the bad guy. I just thought that was a bit dark considering the rest of the movie...)

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The last movies I've seen are like 5 or more, so I can't review all of them now
Kill Bill Vol.1 & 2 - A serius man - The Departed - The Wave - And Jonny Got his Gun - and a movie I don't remember the original title
    3/5 & 4/5               3.5/5              4.2/5           3.5/5                    4.6/5                              2/5

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Oh come on Kill Bill Vol. 1 is fantastic.
