Your reading confuses many, including yourself.
Perhaps. I think the problem here is that I'm interpreting Lucas' post in the other thread as "more than one THAC a year is good" and you're reading it as "keep holding annual THAC". I guess Lucas is the only person who knows which it was intended to be.
Not that it really matters; I was just curious what you were actually advocating.
Maybe he was responding to the second sentence.
Perhaps he likes both.

As I said in a previous thread
Having ONE THAC A YEAR really gives it a big build up and everyone looks forward to doing it.
If THAC were to go "twice a year" it doesn't really seem as hyped up of an event. I wait 365 days for THAC every year which is what makes it so special.
If it were a seasonal contest then somebody could just go "Oh darn, I missed this THAC, I can always do the one in the fall."
Why don't you guys discuss this in the already-created thread, instead of constantly bringing up a contest thread for a contest that is over?

Are you partial to Chima, or was that the only unique thing you could think of?
I don't really like the Chima sets or storyline, but those minifigs always question me. What to do with them? You found a good answer. As for the "Chi" bricks, lightning them from the top was brilliant! I'm taking notes...

I'm excited to see the results.
I'm really interested to see the results because - despite a lot of 'big' Brickfilmers intending to enter, there were still loads of (fairly) new animators with solid entries. (I myself am braced for failiure.)
I too am bracing for failure - I don't know how my film can compete with so many great entries!
