I though THAC was going back to being in the summer?
It was, originally. But with the STAR deadline so soon, we thought it'd just be best to have it in January again.
THAC seems more fun during the winter (it's earlier dark).
Not in Australia...
over 5 minutes...just need to record the lines and sounds and put the music...
i have 2:30 done of my movie, the film score has not yet arrived from my friend who has kindly agreed to compose for this film, the voice actors for three of my characters have still not gotten back to me since the acceptance of their part in the film, there are four days until the deadline and if i might add: four EXTREMELY busy days for me. things that make it busy are: beach party, baby sitting (weird i know), hair cut (forced by parents for my sister's wedding) dentist appointment, 3 jazz band practices (for sister's wedding), random wedding preperations for my sister, getting ready to go to summer camp, responsabilities at my church (no one to sub for me), i just got back from a MAJOR music festival that kept me on my feet till two each morning for four days (that was a blast, i saw 20 rock shows in 4 days for 75 bucks!) now i have a severe cold that has drained me of all emotion, feeling and energy, my filming studio (closet) is extremely HOT, one of my lamp's lightswitches has melted to "on" and hardly works...and yes ALL of this in the final week until the deadline of this contest!! it is pretty much the worst case scenario as far as animating goes and i see no way to finish my movie on time!
so i hereby grudgingly sign my note of resignation from the Bricksinmotion 2009 STAR film festival. i am deeply sorry if this complicates things as i have included my trailer in the trailer contest, and am hoping that it can be removed without too much hassle. to any members who may have been curious to see this film come to completion, do not loose heart! this is not the end of The Scum Of The Earth!! I DO plan to finish this film, just not in the time provided to enter it in the contest. the way i see it is that i could rush to finish for the deadline and come out with a very sloppy, close to raw production, or i could put more time and effort into it and create something i will be proud of and that viewers will enjoy. i have had a wonderful time being a part of this film contest and am very sad to have to write this post but i feel it is best for the sake of my health and the movie.
thanks for the wonderful learning experience, the excuse to brickfilm, and inspiration for my film. and may everyone else find the time to make wonderful movies.

THAC in January
Holy baryufufullortyumonrgasy!
That's a while away.
THAT's alot of contests for one site. Remember there's still Brickfilms.com.
But BF.com suucckkksss...
Alright, my chances are looking better! Last scene finished filming!
Still got a few white expanse shots to do, but hopefully I'll finish those by tonight.
Ahhhh! I lost all the audio for one of my characters!
Oh great. My schedule kind of clears up, and I finally have a good idea, but there are only four days left. Should I go for it?

All right. With an opinion poll of one, if I can pull together my idea into a solid concept I'll head for the launch pad. Worse case scenario: I'm too late. Best case scenario: I beat you all with a film made in four days.
