I suggested using the word "gloaming" in the title since it's synonyms with twilight, but twilight really is a cool word, even if it does bare a negative meaning for many decent people.  Though, I've started to forget its negativity after seeing how cool the uni/alicorn of the same name is.

But do not be afraid.  This story is very different for that story with the fairies who call themselves vampires.

I assure you that none of the vampires in Perpetual Twilight sparkle.

Yeah, that thought did occur to me too.  And while I get that this is (fortunately) very different from that particular...thing... surely this is still tempting fate?  After all, it's a bit like naming a ship Titanic II.... mini/tongue

I helped conceptualize the film, voice, and provided lot of feedback through most of the process.

Most people I've helped for contrast just ask for an idea and are done with it.  However, I'm actually quite happy to be more involved with the process.

It is a Squidy film.
Though, JonnDthunDer has done quite a lot to make it his own, and it does differ from my typical work.

Of all the programs to crash, I find MonkeyJam to be the easiest to recover from. Assuming you keep the images in each shot in a separate folder, all you need to do is re-import all the frames at once and they will be automatically added back into the document. Really easy. It's great that MonkeyJam saves each frame as a picture every time you capture a frame, so even if MonkeyJam crashes in the middle of a shot, you don't lose any of your frames.

Only thing is there were some frames I'd stretched out longer and some I'd rearranged. I still managed though.

OK so I just spend the last couple of hours animating only a few shots while on a skype call in a stupidly hot room and have finally finished. The result is probably worth it though, even though the set for the scene is terrible the animation in some parts is actually probably some of my best ever, so I'm glad I did it.  I may post some frames when I get up.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've just been animating until 2AM, I'm heading off to bed.

I am assuming that this is a nighttime picture. And I can't decide... is the policeman on his head in a fight, or is he just standing on his head for no reason mini/lol. The set does a nice job of portraying a hallway or something, and the guys white shirt makes it look like he just woke up from sleeping. Overall though, kinda a vague picture, though thats probably so you don't give the movie away mini/wink .

It's not a hallway actually, it's a street, I just suck with sets, especially here where I don't have many bricks. Also yeah, he's not in a fight, just talking.

I really thought someone would find it sooner.  I'm amazed that it took six months.
Though, I guess gloaming is an uncommon word, so it makes sense.

His full name is actually Gloaming Glitter.

There's also another Faloovian unicorn ridden by the Rainbow Knight named Spectrum Rush.

I'm glad I exported my animation yesterday because Monkeyjam isn't opening this NEW file which didn't even get the error when I tried to close it.

It opens older files though so I have no idea what's going on.

Is it not creating a new file/animation, or is it not importing new pictures or what?

What I mean is when I try to open the file it acts as if I'm opening an empty one, when all of the images are in there and I've done nothing since I closed it.

I'd already exported the video, I just wanted to open it again for reference on my camera settings. But this could get really annoying when animating long dialogue scenes.

Also I'd already imported the pictures into that file from the other one that didn't work, and I'd rather not have to select loads of frames then have to drag out and rearrange loads of them.

Well, principle photography has wrapped!
Which also means a lot of set dismantling is in my future. mini/eh
Pick-ups are done, and I have plenty of time left for the epic bonus scene.
Effects are done, and I only need to work on the last scene's voice/audio syncing, and I'll be done with all of that.
(Other than the bonus scene of course.)

After that I'll get to work on sounds. mini/twitch

I am actually a country guy mini/tongue. I drive tractors and toss hay on a daily basis, and since most police don't drive down county dirt roads, I never see them. If I do see one though, I will ask him why he aint on his head mini/lol.

@jstudios, no idea what is happening, so I will just look forward to the whole movie mini/wink.

I still have 16 scenes left, roughly 40 hours of animating left, not looking hopeful. I will finish the movie either way, but I sure hope it is done in time for the deadline. Well, I'm of to paintball.
