Re: New Lego themes 2013
I'd like to point out that a large number of sets are available in Europe before the US, just saying.

So unfair LOL.
The Series 9 Minifigures have now been officially announced!

I think the Chicken Suit Guy and Plumber are pretty meh, but the other ones look great. I really want the Judge, Knight, Battle Mech, and Waiter, and maybe Mr. Good-and-Evil, Alien Trooper, and Policeman.
Even better:
Eurobricks has a mini review for every LEGO minifigure in series 9!

I really like the policeman hat and the judge with his wig and robe and (cheesy name) Mr. Good and Evil!!
Wow this series looks good!

Wow. Those look awesome! I love the chicken guy in the back row.
These look good expect skater girl 2. Really Lego?
Wait, didn't notice she was a roller skater, much better.

They haven't done a Roller Derby girl before....
At first I thought that it was like the skate board girl from series Six. This has roller skates which are new.
Yeah, my favorite is the Chicken man. He can go with my gorilla man and my dinosaur man.

I wish people would stop bashing Aquaman. Haven't you got any other fictional characters to pick on?
Hey, I'm just joking around. I pick on other fictional characters. Like Nina Myers, the terrorist from 24. I wrote and recorded a song about it, NINA'S DEAD.

Such as? I do recollect one or two themes launching in Europe first, such as Games, but pretty much all recent product waves have launched in the US before Europe. It happened last year with Super Heroes, LotR (came out inthe US in June, but first arrived across the Atlantic in August), Monster Fighters, and Ninjago, and now it's The Hobbit and Galaxy Squad...

OK, but it still really annoys me when people constantly say "AQUAMAN IS LAME!!! AQUAMAN SUCKS!!!" with no reason, provocation, or evidence to actually back up what they're saying.
Wow, I really like the new policeman figure, the hat looks amazing.
Wow this series looks very promising.
Love the policeman.
I'll probably be getting several of the LR sets, not because I like the lone ranger but mostly because of all the awesome new pieces (new cowboy hat, new pistols, hatchet, cow skull, etc.).
The Lone Ranger set looks really great.
Look forward to it.
Tonto's strangely happy facial expression unnerves me...
Anyway, I feel these new pieces are a bit overdetailed. The new designs (especially the hatchet and pistols) look like they'll be less versatile for MOCs than the old ones, and they remind me of Brickarms or even Playmobil (and not in a good way ).
That being said, my initial reaction might be down to the computer rendering, and the bricks themselves might look better in the flesh (or rather plastic), and I do like the look of the pistols. Also, I've never been much of a Westerns fan anyway.
Oh come on it's not fair. I can't afford getting all the sets I want damn it! Lone Ranger looks awesome.
