Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread
Mucho bettero. (It's sort of a family joke). The batcave looks quite a bit more coordinated, not nearly as random.
By the way, Lifelites are awesome, I'm definitely getting some. ;D

Much better!
(No more URPs!)
I may have to get some LifeLites myself.

How do these flags look? Are they big enough? Is there any thing I should change?

@Pritchard It looks awesome with LifeLites! Like Jargon mentioned, the green does look a little odd, maybe try making the path go blue-green-blue, and same with the bat symbol? And turning off one of your lamps, or moving the lamp farther away, or something of the sort, might make a really cool dramatic lighting effect. Having the LifeLights predominantly lighting the set, with only one or two other lights to just light the scene up a little bit, would look really awesome.
@Legocloniac They look like flags, but whether or not they suit your needs really depends on what they're being used for...

Well I've never played any Call of Duty Games, but I would like it to be a capture the flag game. If Call of Duty even has that.
One set for my film of Titanium by Sia
Looks a bit blank, and the colours are rather out of place.
Here's some stuff from the film I'm trying to get done by the 9th, tentatively titled Sharks & Clowns.
(Among other possible names: Shark & Clown, Fighting like Sharks & Clowns, Fencing like Sharks & Clowns, or Riigo-Faloo)

The throne room for the King of Clowns. This set shall only be used for one shot for a random flashback which only lasts a moment.

The Mushroom Cottage, where almost all of the film happens.

Giant mushroom!

Little mushrooms.

Mr. Gregory McSharkyson, the main Shark character of the film.
I stayed up after midnight building this, then I got up around 4 to finish it.
(I really should get some more sleep. har har)
What do you think?
Wow, nice. I really like your set designs, the foreground at least, although the background seems a bit bland. (I found the arch!
)
Unfortunately, I decided to make this randomly while I had another set half-built, so my selection of pieces was more limited than usual.
Well, anything from a few trees sticking up behind the hill to a few stacked blocks to make some skyscrapers could improve the background. ![]()
Looks good ANP! It reminds me of the mushroom biome, my favorite thing about Minecraft!
Just asking, but where did you get the top for the big mushroom?
I think that's from Sandy's Rocket from the Sponge-Bob line. Nice the TCOTY Easter egg you have there.
Very nice. Bonus points for including the parrot.
I don't think that skyscrapers would fit in the magical land of Riigo-Faloo. Har har.
I'm not sure about the giant mushroom cap. I know it's not from Sandy's Rocket, because that one is white and I still have it constructed.
It might have been a Bionicle set, not sure, though.
Yeah, the typical TCOTY reference, archway, and Munchy are really obvious in this film.
perhaps I'll make up for it with a cleverly hidden ninja.
The mushroom cap piece appears in red in this set.
(Bionicle sets had the part in black and trans-blue.)
Great sets as usual, by the way.
Here's my set for this weeks animation challenge (Olympic fencing)...unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to finish the film in time for the challenge, but I will probably make a fencing short anyways sometime in the near future.

awesome, did you darken the room while animating? Id reccomend Cloning some black lego in post and hiding that spot of light in the back
I was feeling rather architectural one day so I build this thing.
It's not for any film in particular, I just built it for fun, but I may use it in a film if need arises.

This is a MOC for a Batman/Iron Man thing I am making. This is going to be an office for Harvey Dent.

It has removable walls so I can get my camera in there

Any suggestions on how to improve this?
