Congrats To All Of The Winners!!:DD
The official awards video is now available! You can view it here. Once again, congrats to all the winners, and thanks to all who contributed to the judging and arranging of the awards this year!
Congratulations to all the winners! I thoroughly enjoyed all of them, and I'm glad they won what they did! Also, I was just thinking, since the awards video is the official video for the BiM awards, should it be put up on the home page along with the results?
Nice video, BB, though in the future, I'd recommend saving Best Film for last.
Can we talk about 2012 Bricks in Motion Awards?
Can we talk about 2012 Bricks in Motion Awards?
Yes, please.
I hope it happens again.
It's not likely to get off the ground for at least a few weeks, but we'll keep you posted.
This has to be fixed as a proper yearly thing so people could focus more on making quality films that could be nominated for this
We should have it with bribery and everything.
"Hey Hazzat I'll give you 7 ponies if I get nominated for best cinematography..."
I agree with everything said above.

I agree! We need to have exact dates and etc. like January 1st to January 30th is for voting and February 1st is when results are revealed. People shouldn't wait for the results for like 5-6 months. I can see this contest as inspiration to create the good old brickfilms we fell in love with years ago the new generation is too used to "Street shootouts" and etc. instead they should see "America: Outlawed"...
I agree that guaranteed yearly brickfilm awards would be a little bit of extra motivation for putting more care into a film, and perhaps people wouldn't feel that every film they make needs to be for a contest, since great films that aren't made for contests will be recognized. It could also have no affect, but either way the BiM awards are still cool.
I'm going to just animate super great films which take ages to make regardless of any awards.
It would be interesting if there were a best brickfilmer award.
For people who haven't made any really big films or anything, more have just come out with a really nice bunch of brickfilms during the year.
yeah, another one I would like to see is:
Best Adaption
as there are alot of Batman, Star wars, and all films out there, most are dumb, but you get a few that are really good. that may not win another award but deserve an award....

I totally agree with you.
It'd be great if the Best Series category could be brought back.
Oh yeah, that was a great category.

Nice idea
