Don't ever use your teeth. That leaves marks on the bricks. And damaged bricks aren't good.
That's what brick separators are for.

Well, when I was six, I was beyond chewing LEGO, and begun the "Building large heavy towers out of LEGO and throwing them at my brother" stage.
Oh, by the way:

260.) When you talk about what you did with Legos when you were six on the internet.
