I get a little teary-eyed in Hitch, near the end when

Hitch and Allegra are on the boat, and then when Albert comes (after he tries to beat up Hitch, of course).

Tears of joy, people, that's where it's at.

Yes, I am a Trekkie, and yes I got "emotional" when Spock died in Star Trek II. mini/smile

I'm not even a Trekkie and that scene depressed me so much when I first saw it! (actually in my Philosophy class-we were talking about Utilitarianism mini/tongue)

Being Human. Just watched the series 3 finale. My heart is sore from all the shattering.
Can't wait for series 4, such an underrated show.

For me it would have to be a scene from Toy Story 3, where

the Toy Story gang are slowly sliding towards a furnace they cannot get away from, so they hold onto each other's hands and prepare for death.

I love Toy Story, and that scene had me in tears. I honestly thought it would all end right there.

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Re: Emotional attachments to characters from movies or TV shows?

I got very emotional when I saw The Office-Goodbye Michael. (Season 7, Episode 22). Both me and my mom got so sad at that episode! Michael just couldn't leave; he was the funniest (in my opinion)! mini/sad

When I was little, I got very emotional when E.T. was close to dying. mini/smile
Also when my brother was like 6-9 he cried when Bambi died.

Re: Emotional attachments to characters from movies or TV shows?

Ever since I have become a brony I find myself being extremely emotionally affected by anything to do with the show, be it happy or sad (for example, I almost cried at the end of that episode where the mane 6 tell all the CMC about how they got their cutie mark. Also, the prelude to season 2. This video sure didn't help.) Whenever I watch that show I feel like my heart is going to explode in rainbows and butterflies. I really think I've become a better person since I "joined the herd," because I've been trying to take the philosophy to heart.

I guess that's an emotional connection. Also, My Little Dashie. Read it. NOW

Also, I cried when they cancelled Chowder. mini/blankexpression

The finale episode was hilarious and an awesome way to end the series, though.

The guy who created Chowder, C.H. Greenblatt, is making a new TV show for Nickelodeon, so that's definitely going to be pretty freaking awesome.

Chowder was my life when I was in 5th grade. Then I sort of stopped watching it very much for a while when my family moved and then a few years later I heard that it was cancelled and I died inside. I am forever looking for copies of it on DVD at used movie stores lololol.
I don't actually watch TV that much, apart from ponies, but I am totally going to rage if they decide to cancel the regular show.
