I have a rig that works okay, but it doesn't allow much freedom in filming and camera angles and it breaks easily.

I had one of those before I got my webcam. When I had that camera, I would take two pieces of tack and stick the camera on it. It worked, but sometimes it would move when I would take the pictures.

I'm working on getting my studio back up and running, so stay posted...

Use a tripod? I have my QCP9K mounted to a tripod, it's great for camera movements.
