I just sent in my judging ballot as well. Something messed up with the board and Onion's first ballot never made it to me. Go technology. With that behind me, I look forward to seeing who the winners are. Good luck to everyone who entered.

Sorry to sound like a little whingeing kid, but do you have any idea when the results will be out? I've been pretty anxious (checking BiM for an update on the forums every 30 minutes in class). thanks
The shortlist will be out today, hopefully. The results on Friday.

The shortlist still isn't out, and you said it'd be out around three days ago... not to be rude, but - what's going on?
What's going on is that the judging of the ballots is a massive process this year, give the number of categories and the amount of entries. I'm working on it as best I can but I can't give any set dates as to when it will be done, I'm sorry to say.
No, it's because the judges forgot that the overall meant all numbers added up. I'm in the process of adding them up. Some judges such as Jonathan (Jstudios) have been kind enough to do so themselves.

I don't know about your life, but mine is hectic and busy, so my spare time is limited.
I was one of the judges who left it blank. I didn't know if everything added up there or if there was a division based on all of the categories or just specific categories overall. I asked about it and was told thanks for my response. As there was no instruction given with the ballot I don't feel wrong handing it in the way I did. Onion-if your life is so hectic why did you host a contest?

I must admit that at the time it was okay to leave them blank, and it was through no fault of yours or anyone elses that it's taking a while. Also, in all seriousness, what was the last decent contest that had the results 11 days after the results? I'm sorry if I've misplaced the date of the deadline - I'll only say again when it'll be once I have all the results in and ready.
I can't help but thinking that if people stopped bugging Onion then the results would come out faster.

When he and the judges are ready, they'll tell us who won. I'm impatient too, but all I have to do is wait. That's what they did during the wars, all they had to do...was wait for their independence.
