I know what you mean, Sean. Comparison: 
I'm not sure what the issue is, it has something to do with the way the forum software scales down the images, something it shouldn't need to do. I'd see if I could fix it but I don't have administrative controls for the forum.

They don't look too blurred, but the cut-off necks annoy me.
There seems to be a mix of people for whom the emotes are blurry, and some who ahve missing necks. Can you post a screenshot? for me they appear as 
I think the ones who use Firefox get scaled images, and ones with IE get neck cut off:
second is FF third IE.
I'm on FF and I get necks cut off.
I'm on Firefox and I get blurry.
I'm on IE 7, and I get gray teeth, and cut off necks. 
On chrome it seems to be slightly blurry.
Yep...if you want, I could revert back to the original emoticons until this is fixed.
