Is the parrot on a leaf what you need to put in each scene?
No, it's not a specific object that you need, it's two specifically colored bricks connected that need to be in each frame. The mods in that picture were red and green, and the parrot and leaf were the red and green. Also, the other mod could be a letter.
Okay, when you have finished your entry before the deadline, you're going to upload it to http://www.mediafire.com/ , and then you're going to send it to an e-mail that Goliathan has not yet put down. But when the contest starts you're going to make your entry following all of the rules, and upload it to Mediafire, then send it to the e-mail Golithan puts.

Not necessarily that parrot and leaf, it's the colours that count. If colours are red and green, ANY red brick connected with a green brick is fine. It can be a parrot on a leaf but also red pants with green torso, or just a wall with both colours.
And btw, I probably won't enter.
Wow, there's actually sponsors for this contest. I guess I made the right choice in handing it over to someone else. But unfortunately for me, the contest starts while I'll be on vacation. Maybe I can make a film in the two or 3 days I'll have after it.
EDIT: As a suggestion Goliathan, the last time I ran this contest I made the requirement that you had to have one of the mod elements in every shot, not every frame. To me it seemed unfair that someone could, for example, get disqualified just because a character walks in front of the mod element while the shot remains exactly the same.

You can use the letter or color mod in every frame.
The letter mod is like having a W on the wall or something.
You do not have to use both, but you must use at least one.

No, no, no. The letter mod is supposed to be shown on screen. It can be used interchangably with the color mod.
Say if the letter mod was "T". That means if there's a gas station in your shot that has a sign saying "Octan", that would be acceptable. The letter mod deosn't have to be in every frame. In one shot, you can have the color mod, in the next shot, you can have the letter mod.
And after the results are announced, can we list the film as "public" on YouTube?
You can make the film public (and release it on BIM) after the contest ends.

Very happy to see this finally happening. Unfortunately the summer has been rather busy for me so I missed out on ToY, but I am quite delighted to see a new competition.
