The problem with a 12 hour time limit is that some edits are simply not possible in a span of 12 hours.
Maybe make it a full 24?
12 hours is more than enough time.
How about 18 hours?

Well, so far we haven't had to wait a full 12-hours for an edit to be posted.
Maybe make a rule that you must start on your edit as soon as you call "dibs"?
Yeah, my reasoning is that no edit should really take 12 hours if you start when you call dibs, but I did want a long enough time limit that people would be able to do things without feeling rushed. I considered 24 hours, but I think that borders on encouraging people to post dibs before waiting forever to actually start editing.

Oh no, that's a good rule: People must start on their edit right after they call dibs. I will add that.
EDIT: ZP hasn't posted his edit, I think it's safe for someone else to call dibs.

...when KG or anyone trolls and ruins an image, don't submit yourselves to his trolling and start all over, simply take the image before the trolls and edit that.
