I made a StopMotion focused branch of OpenToonz called TurtleMotion. It is alpha status right now. Plenty of refining and tweaking to do, but feel free to test it out.

It is Windows only for now.
If you are using a webcam and your resolutions give black bars, you may want to check "Use Direct Show . . " in the options tab.
The big focus was adding DSLR support. Webcams work, but I think there is room for optimization.
Hitfilm looks cool, but it dousent seem to be entirely free!:o

I'm currently doing a traditional project in opentoonz, and I am loving this software. SO glad I don't have to try to clean up in flash anymore!

Helium Frog - I would sadly suggest removing this as the website is gone, and the program hasn't really worked on Windows 8 and above.
Stopmojo - I mentioned removing this a while ago and would still suggest so:
This program seems ancient and I have rarely, if ever, heard of anyone who actually uses it on BiM. In addition I can't even get it to run on my Windows 10 computer.
