Re: What was the last LEGO set you got?
Dang it. I'll just have to be super strong-willed. Like Obi-Wan Kenobi. I can totally be Obi-Wan Kenobi.
I'll upload some pics when the order arrives, or maybe vlog it on my BTS channel.

So i'll be writing an article that will be on the homepage of BrickSet, and for that i will try to get some more old Lego vehicles, starting with this one. I paid for it already and hopefully if it gets sent today it'll be in the mail by Monday. Techincally, i already got it, i just don't physically have it.
Whilst browsing across sets, i found this car here. May be of interest too (and no, i didn't buy this fyi).
Jampot, congrats on your first order! A lot of Bricklink stores will have an information page and many of them, probably the majority, post shipping rates based upon weights/ countries, etc. You can read them before making a purchase. Most transactions run smoothly, but you have to wait a day before they send their payment info/paypal email address, etc.
WOUT, those are cool sets you're getting. I never remembered seeing cars with fronts like that. Are they from about 1987?
By the way, the last sets I got were assorted Mixels. And another melting room, the latter which cost nothing.
Actually, aside from the Mixels, Lego Friends (my favorite Lego series currently produced) and anything 80's themed (like Ecto-1), I'm pretty content in my collection, and really only wish to get more regular bricks in colors like white, beige (tan according to Lego Group), and medium blue, to build sets, and build up my rare color collection for brickfilming.

Actually, I got it sorted within the hour, which was nice.
Cool Jampot. For me it takes a day because I'm usually online only once per day.
As i said, i wasn't getting the police version of the car, i'm only getting the Sport Coupe, 6530. I just thought i'd share it because it was similar. Brickset says they are from 1990 but everywhere except Brickset it says 1992, so i'm guessing that that's the right date.
I got my hands on the Ecto-1:
T'was a battle at the Lego Store. The DeLorean from Back to the Future, or the Ecto 1. The DeLorean kind of looked a bit too generic.
Just built it, really mice model. Even if you aren't a huge fan of Ghostbusters I highly reccomend it!

I don't have the Ecto-1 (yet), but I do have the BTTF set. I have to say, the DeLorean model model isn't that great honestly, and if you're struggling between the two I'd say go with Ghostbusters; it seems like a better model, and it's got some really great pieces. However, if you're a big fan of the BTTF movies you should at least try to get your hands on the minifigs, they're great.
Got this on my vacation last week.

And I AM a fan of GB. Actually, you might want to check the Back to the Future set. It is pretty straightforward in its construction, but I love the window technique and you can remodel it as any car in the trilogy.
Oh boy. Well...
Yup, got that. I bought it for $320 dollars from an ad on the radio; it has the box (really beat up), the certificate of authenticity, the instructions, and most (if not all) the pieces. The main parts of it were assembled, with a lot of loose pieces in the bottom. I have no intent to keep this set, I'm probably going to try and resell it. After going through the pieces and seeing how many of them I have, I'll probably try and build it and then sell it on eBay. I don't have the room to keep it, and I could really use the money I could make from selling it (assuming most of it's there). But yeah, that was my last LEGO purchase.
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got these two guys off bricklink both for $20

Really excited for them. I missed the Cap. America set when it was out and am kicking myself for not getting it then. Oh well, I now have it, and I got the Jedi Starfighter for retail!
That millennium falcon set is worth a bomb. Sell it.
yeah, you should sell it.
To me.
I will give you $330 for it. That's enough profit for a round of delicious milkshakes for you and one to two of your friends. Delicious, delicious milkshakes.
Delicious, delicious milkshakes.
I DRINK IT UP

I was going to get them, but then realised that at the moment I can't really afford to buy a set that I intend to build and never ever take apart.
EDIT: Literally just bought Dol Guldur Battle on ebay! The best part? Down from £70 to £39! I spent ages checking over the lot and it's definitely the whole set, too, not one of those weird lots where they've taken the minifigs out. Can't wait for this to arrive - it says some time around the 23rd or 24th of June. With this, I will be restarting my Istari Adventures series in earnest. This also means I now have two Necromancers, so I may sell one or use it as part of the prize in the short contest I'm planning this fall.
