My Christmas loot:
Shelob
Dol Guldur
The Joker's Fun House
A Superman set
And ten collectable minifigures
I think the best is Dol Guldur. It has a great load of grey bricks, which are to me the most useful thing to have in set building. I'm always wanting more for bigger rock faces and castles and cities and such. It also has eight of those special brick bricks, which I've been wanting in dark grey for details. I need more now.
I got ten minifigures. One of those cops and one of the barbarians I got back in September, though. Not pictured here is a trio of rock climbers I acquired, which is a shame because they are very, very ugly. I doubt I'll find a use for them, but I hope I can somehow.
I'm really glad to have two of these sneeuwpops. They both look really cool.
I now have a force of classic coppers. I've switched their heads with smileys, though, which looks really great.
But I think my favourite is this old cat lady. Her outfit is quite interesting, and could work for a girl at basically any age. I might use it for the main character in the Absorbent Old Man. Her face isn't much, but I love her hair, and would be very useful if I ever make this one other film I have planned.
A repelling spider:
Overall, it's been a delightful batch of gifts, which should benefit my future films. I did not receive a single non-LEGO gift. My family knows me so well.
