I got 1,000+ views on one of my movies. For me this is a big milestone in my YouTube career.
Deeply. Google must now force you to sign a pact with Satan and give your soul to the devil.
Congrats Lech, that must be awesome. And congrats to Eddie, too. I remember the first time that happened to me.
Eh, I'm getting to a thousand views in a vid (500+; halfway there). BUT what I really was going to post here for was to say how amazed I am. Within two days, my upload views went from 1000 to 2000 and my channel views from under 1000 to over 4,600! How do channel views increase more than video views like that?
And I looked at YouTube Insight (really cool thing, I love it) and learned that 5 of those upload views were from an embedded video. Does that mean someone has embedded my video, or was it viewed from those suggestions you see after you view an embedded video.
(Or am I completely misunderstanding what an embedded video really is?)
Created an AWESOME new YouTube layout (Click here to see awesomeness). What really is cool about it is that I created the whole thing from scratch, in Photoshop (you'll know what mean when you see it). Don't forget to scroll down.
EDIT: Double post!
Just want to give a heads up that there's a scam going round on Youtube at the moment. If you get a message to use a site called earnsubscribers.com, ignore it because it'll spam to your phone, etc. Apparently some have already fallen for it, so yeah, spread the word, keep an eye out and all that.
I now have 500 subscribers. I've been on YouTube for 11 months now, so I think of it as an accomplishment. ^_^
