My collection arrived last night. Whilst the figures are very cool, some of the parts were obviously made from a lesser quality plastic. Most of the legs, for example, are a bit softer than regular minifigure legs and pop off studs easily.

That is only in Europe. There not out in north America until June.
No I meant for the U.S. They have been out since the 10th or something like that.
lolwut? Where did you hear that?

I didn't hear I've seen them in TRU.
Seriously?
Where do you live? O_O

They're not available in Boston, that's for sure! I went to the LEGO store in Braintree, and I didn't see any.

Virginia, but I got 4 or em and then the day I went back to TRU they didn't even have the box with them in TRU....
And I even had the Bar Code's!
But I got a new Kingdom set.
And a Prince of Persia set 20% off!

Maybe a new Design? they did change the neck on the torso not to have a black bar across!
In other new I got the Magician and Crash Dummy today, still urging for the clown though!
If by "funky" you slightly cheap feeling, yes mine do, disappointingly.

I bought some months ago this set and it also had "funky" legs and arms. Maybe Lego is thinking about brickfilmers and we can animate better cause lags and head aren't so stuck anymore.

No, it's because LEGO has factories in Asia now.
No offence to any Asians.

I heard there making the new mini-figures out of environmental friendly plastic; Genius!
If it's for the enviroment, then that's OK, but if it's just cos they're cheap, then they suck.
THe cheaper plastic is worse for brickfilming.

I would rather have a well made Lego man than some cheaply made environmental friendly one. Especially when they are charging £2 for them. I cant even see how making them out of crappy plastic would even help the environment, and if I wanted to help the environment I would plant a tree.
