Topic: "The Apocalypse" webseries

Hey guys!

I'm currently having this post-apocalyptic idea for a series. I'm a big fan of Mad Max movies and other great Post-Apocalyptic flicks like (The Road and Book of Eli not that 2012 crap) so no wonder I'm thinking about making these series mini/smile

Basic plot:
In a A.D. 2043 a man named Samuel is on a sacred journey to bring piece to himself. After the World War 3 ended and the World as we know it fell, Samuel was lucky enough to stay alive and save his wife and daughter from all the dangers, until one day a gang called "Kings" showed up and brutally killed Samuel's family while he was looking for food.

(Basically the main plot of Season 1 is like this...  Samuel is traveling through the vast land fighting infected and all kinds of criminals and finally during season finale he has a final shootout with the "Kings" gang leader which depending on the show ratings might actually affect the ending of the finale mini/smile )

***Season 1 episode list***
S01E01 "Pilot"

Samuel is desperately looking for water as it's one of the biggest issues in the post-apocalyptic world. This search for water leads up to even bigger problems...

Re: "The Apocalypse" webseries

Sounds ambitious, assuming that you want to make this with Lego...

But if you can pull it off, it might be interesting!

Actually I still can't decide whether his name would be Ahab or Samuel, I was imagining him being African American.
In the Bible Ahab was a king, in addition Ahab was called the most evil/darkest King there was and I really liked the idea cause we are all human and we all have some form of evil inside of us. Since Ahab is man who has to kill to survive in the dangerous post-apocalyptic world I thought name Ahab suits the character well while Samuel is just a classical name which I happen to like, I didn't look into it's meaning.

Looks amazing, just wondering, are you still working on that LEGO Star Trek series?

I'm still going to make the series, that's true but due to the fact that I promised my subscribers Apocalypse series way earlier I gotta make it and I feel like doing Apocalypse series now. Later when the summer begins I'm probably going to start filming Star Trek Series but we'll see, I just wish I was still in high school cause back then I had so much more free time, right now I either have to study or work and I really have no time to animate so I do my best mini/wink

Re: "The Apocalypse" webseries

Maybe the first episode could show the events leading up to Ahab's journey?
Sounds as an interesting series, IMO.

Re: "The Apocalypse" webseries

I thought about it yeah. But then I've kinda decided that I should add the sequences about the past in the later episodes, because the pilot will probably be only 2 minutes in length. Oh and I changed the name to Samuel, just felt like it would suit the character more.

Re: "The Apocalypse" webseries

Oh, this is pretty old topic. mini/tongue But I will look foward this.
