This film can pretty much be summed up in one sentence: it's awesome... but it's not Fancypants'. And that's a shame, because the comparison really isn't all that unfavorable; in fact, in many aspects filmyguy's entry is every bit equal or even superior (most notably the pacing) to the eventual contest winner. It's tough to really draw a distinct parallel between the two, anyway, as the tinted color palette and limited rooftop set in this short result in a heavily stylized look and the cinematography and animation style is equally unique. At the end of things, it is clear that this wasn't the best film in the contest, but it certainly didn't deserve to be 923,000 Youtube views behind. Do your part to help filmyguy's duel pull a little closer... you won't regret it.
