The 212th Attack Battalion invades a planet loyal to the CIS near the Mandalore Sector, fighting not against the Separatists, but also against the locals. There's also a hint to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Prelude wich is so far in Pre-Production
Originally intended as a short test for single take scenes, this short became an experimental short, trying to mend a Star Wars battle with elements of War and Western movies aswell. The film shows a singular situation in the Clone Wars, with a battle that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi would find "immoral", as there's no aim to free or liberate from the CIS oppression the locals, but locals are part of the CIS and are massacred during the battle. FInally, there's also a clone we've meet in The Clone Wars TV series, Chrys, who acts as a sarge onboard the gunship at the beginning, and dies during the battle. The white clone who we follow during the video is supposed to be clone trooper Wooley, who appeared early on in the battle of Ryloth. It's obvious that we're not far from the Episode III events when this battle takes place.
