Director's Comments

A Blacktron pilot has a dilema with a droid... This was originally going to be a test, But I got an idea while filming, so here we go! My longest film yet C & C welcome :)

Staff Review

Randy Yard:
While it's not going to be a contender for any awards, "The Droid" is still an enjoyable enough minute-and-a-half watch. There are issues, sure... sound is a big one, and the dialogue features a completely superfluous swear word... but they are the exception here rather than the norm. The set is a bit repetitive but nicely designed, animation is above average, and some very nice camera angles keep things lively. You may not run into the streets shouting its praises, but this is certainly not a watch you'll regret. Definitely worth a view.
