Staff Review

Randy Yard:
There's really no other way to describe the genre of this film than to call it a spoof of movie trailers... and a good one at that. Punctuated early by some laughably over-the-top titles, Hazzat perfectly sets up the stereotypical saccharine seriousness of many movie trailers--and then promptly spikes it down as the piece quickly devolves into a rapidly cut slideshow of terrified humans and droves of crazed porcine invaders. It's silly to the utmost, but the technical prowess on display here is more than enough to make this piece stand up. If you're looking for a quick laugh that doesn't rely on juvenile humor or inside jokes, you've certainly come to the right place.
