Adventures and voyage of a quite special guy called Gaston. He is very naive, and above all so awkward...

Staff Reviews

Sméagol:
This film is a great achievement.  The scale of the film is quite ambitious, and at over 25 minutes it's not short, but Gaston's Odyssey easily kept my attention with its funny, unique storytelling and creative characters.  The story is whimsical, perhaps even a little random at times, but ultimately it works as a cohesive narrative with surprising and entertaining twists and turns.  The sets are well made, and there is some nice animation and effects work throughout - good voice acting also adds to the fun.  One of my favorite brick films of 2008.

Bert Loos:
Gaston's odyssey is one of those films you know will become an instant classic. While the film clocks in at over 25 minutes, its captivating story, perfect pace and simply funny jokes make sure you never get bored and never look away. Add to that great voice acting from everyone involved and really cool set design (really, some of it is pure eye candy), and you have a film that is guaranteed to score high on the entertain-o-meter.
