david reino :
I'm not quite sure where Keshen acquires his seemingly endless supply of ingenious and original ideas, but I definitely want to find out. While watching this film, I was impressed not only by another display of the director's animation prowess but by his unique idea to take a relatively simple concept and make a very entertaining little film out of it. It's tough these days to find a Lego movie that manages to be technically excellent while still remaining interesting; even tougher is finding a one-joke film that really works. Keshen, it seems, has struck upon the proper formula, combining stellar Lego animation with wise-acre humor in the style of the Leftfield crew. If this is what Keshen puts into a 43 second film, I'd love to see what he does with 15 minutes someday...
