Founded in 2001, Bricks in Motion is a friendly filmmaking community devoted to the art of stop-motion animation. Most of our films, sometimes called brickfilms or LEGO movies, are created using LEGO® and other plastic brick building toys. We have an active forum for filmmakers to learn from each other and share their work, as well as an ever-growing directory of films submitted by our members, and periodic animation contests that challenge filmmakers to push their skills further.
An "old" film of mine which I haven't posted here yet. Surprisingly.
I started scripting The Quest For The Torc Alliah on mid November,2007 for steviecolli's( Stevie Collins, a member here,) Contest: The Quest for "_____". By the Time I got voice actors, It was late December and I went on holidays. Animation started on the 3rd of January 2008, and finished on the 23rd of Febuary 2008.
This film was shot in 20 fps.
bernard: Despite problems with a light plot and inconsistency of pacing, The Quest for the Torc Alliah remains an entertaining film supported with decent animation, good set design and some pretty cool moments, if a little rough around the edges.
