Director's Comments

HOLY COW! I cannot believe this film has finally come to an end, this project started on November 12, 2022 and it is now March 3, 2023. This film was a passion project (hint on why it took so long). I always wanted to make a space video.I have made a few space videos done in the past, but not at the level that I am at right now. Right now, I have 1 minute and 30 seconds of cut footage, earlier test footage from August 9, 2022, the storyboard, and behind the scene photos. The film had been stuck at a roadblock when I had started my Sophomore year, but it wasn’t until a film festival that I didn’t even know about. My area and the whole district were given the opportunity to take part and submit their own film, but there was some rules you have to follow in order to be accepted. 1) You must have a character that is a magician. 2) Have a prop sign. 3) Have character dialogue that says “My hands are tired”. These inclusions are not bad. I believe that this addition adds more charm and does not impact the film. If you do not know the title of the film, it’s a reference to the oldest known Brickfilm “Journey to the Moon '' by Lars and Henrik Hassing.
