Director's Comments

Having joined the Justice League, Jo’nn Jonzz the Martian Manhunter reveals that Earth will need to face a new threat…The Galactic Tyrant Darkseid. What new adventures and mysteries await our heroes? Tune in and find out in my latest Stop Motion Comic!

Background: Filmed at 13 fps using 4371 frames, this episode has been on long hiatus due to more reasons that I could count. However, this did not stop the production! Much work has gone into making my films feel more like comic books by utilizing more comic like effects and speech bubbles. This film represents my journey towards creating something I feel is both unique and at the same time, familiar to other types of stop motions animation and comic books. This is my way of combining the worlds of motion comics with stop motion animation which I call Stop Motion Comics. Please feel to leave your much valued comments and feedback on this film.

Voice Actors: Many have wondered why I don't use any voice actors in my films. Although having voices to my characters would enhance the overall quality of my films, I wanted to go a different route. For many fans of these characters, there have been so many tv shows, movies, and comic books depicting many unique versions and super talented voice actors bringing these characters to life. When I read a comic book, I imagine my favorite voice actor reading those lines. I took that concept and applied to my films. When you read the dialogue you automatically hear the natural voice that comes to your head. For example, when I read a line from Jo'nn Jonzz, I hear the voice of Carl Lumby. In this way I am hoping to create the illusion that viewers are hearing the voice of their favorite actor in the film.
