Staff Review

Randy Yard:
A simplistic but extremely effective film, "Bench of Close Shaves" eschews dialogue, relying instead on grunts, groans, and other verbalizations, much like the cutscenes in the LEGO video games. Coupled with a cartoonish animation style and quality sound design, the result is a cute short film that is undeniably entertaining. At less than half a minute long, you'd be silly to pass this one by.
