Can't believe I almost missed this entry. I really liked it. The story was simple but I think you told it very well. The metaphor of him "toeing the line" made literal worked very well. I love the moment where he contemplates taking the money, and you can see his arm shake and then it cuts to him about to take that step. It was such a great way to show how he's contemplating what to do and you feel the doubt through everything. You really nailed that. What a great film.
