A scene is a location, like a room.
No, a scene isn't a location. A scene is a containment of action. One location can be used in different scenes, or different locations can be used in one scene. Usually not, but there's no way to define a scene as "a location" since editing and writing determines a lot of how a scene is defined.
You’re right I should have been more specific. I meant a location at any given, ongoing time. Once you leave that location and return, that is a new scene.
