Topic: Shaky Cam Test

Here's my first test with the shaky cam. I think I went a little too shaky, but I'll try to improve it in the future.

Re: Shaky Cam Test

I have to say that this is a very good take on how to do a shaky cam bit, but keep the movement of the tripod a condensed a bit because I would see myself looking at the sunglass guy when I want to look at the other one. For a first test, it was done well. Good job!

Re: Shaky Cam Test

Good overall, although at 0:02-0:03 it was a bit too quick for my liking, and the last bits of shaking looked more like as if you had bumped the camera by accident, as the shaking wasn't really necessary at the end.

This is a very minor issue, but at 0:02 the head of the guy on the left is out of focus and slightly too high. Remember the rule of thirds!! mini/smile

However I am impressed by this as a first test, so well done mini/smile

Re: Shaky Cam Test

Thanks very much for the feedback! mini/smile  I realized it was out of focus too. That's 'cause I Moved the camera back some as well as side to side  and forgot to adjust the focus until a few frames later.

Re: Shaky Cam Test

Don't worry, I'm having the same exact troubles with my current brickfilm!
