does it have remote capture / how well does it work for brickfilming?
the biggest problem with my current camera is that it doesn't have remote capture, so i can't use helium frog or monkey jam with it, so i'm wondering if the t2i can do that.
I don't know much about this camera, since I don't own one. But I do believe it does have remote capture. Though this is the main reason you had me posting: based off what you said, your current camera cannot be opened in a frame capturing program, but you're animation is absolutely fantastic! I'm surprised that you've vreated such a smooth film without the use of a frame capturing program. But the only downside is that I'm mistaken and you actually used another type of camera.

i'm thinking of getting the canon rebel t2i sometime soon, and i have a few questions about it.

does it have remote capture / how well does it work for brickfilming?
the biggest problem with my current camera is that it doesn't have remote capture, so i can't use helium frog or monkey jam with it, so i'm wondering if the t2i can do that.

is there any kind of auto bracketing feature for shooting hdrs?
this doesn't necessarily have anything to do with brickfilming, but i'm just wondering if there's any kind of feature where it will shoot two or more pictures at different exposures for hdr (high dynamic range)

does the kit lens work ok for brickfilming, you know, macro mode...?
i really don't want to spend like $800 on a fancy macro lens, so i'm just wondering if the kit lens can focus up close enough for brickfilming?

that's it, thx
