Dragon Stop Motion Question

Good Afternoon Fellow Animators

I have a question that I have searched high and low for and so now I come to you...the true experts. Stop Motion Pro offers a great (what I think is great) feature with masking within the program itself as opposed to exporting to photoshop, but it comes at the price of near $200. At that price I'm willing to spend a little more to get DSM if it makes sense.

To help explain what I mean here is a link. Removing Rigs

My question is does Dragon Stop Motion offer anything of the same type? Or could someone explain how masking works with Dragon Stop Motion (ie, do you just export to photoshop, etc)

Any help would be very much appreciated.
