Hey guys!

LOOOONNGGG time since I have visited this site! it feels nice to be back :D I have been very busy with college lately but I am finally to the point where I am finishing up with my general courses and can start concentrating on the stuff I love- making movies! well, that is exactly what I am back for. some help with a film festival our college holds every semester. Here is a list of the requirements.

Spring 2011 Film Festival
Next semester, we are happy to announce that The Reel and SAB will be joining forces to bring you the Spring Film Festival! The event will be bigger than ever. Look forward to an off-campus venue, dinner served while watching the films, and great prizes for the winning pictures!
This year’s theme is Restore.
The requirements are as follows:
1. All original script, footage, and score
2. At least one scene filmed off-campus
3. One faculty/staff member
4. One reflection shot (e.g., mirror, TV screen, water)
5. One live animal
The categories for prizes are as follows:
1. Best Picture
2. Viewer’s Choice
3. Best Incorporation of Theme and Requirements
4. Best Technical
5. Best Screenplay
6. Best Actor/Actress
Please, no vulgar language or excessive violence in the films. We reserve the right to not show your film if we deem it to be inappropriate.

Okay, soooo my film will be the first brickfilm ever seen on campus and I am hoping to get the prize for best technical because most videos submitted are of "first-vlog-like" quality... what I am asking for is ideas on a script! according to the requirements I will need a staff member and a live animal and a reflection shot...I am planning to get all of these in one scene with a LEGO guy flipping through chanels on his TV where it will show any "live" required things. and when he turns it off it will show his reflection... all of it will technically be filmed off campus... so the only requirement now is the script and storyline...and i am fresh out of ideas...

the theme is RESTORE... any creative ideas? anyone? let me know if you think of anything! thanks guys!
