Not available to homeschooled children
Not true I have been using www.academicsuperstore.com for student discounts. I am homeschooled and I was able to get Sony Vegas Pro on student discount. I will be getting Adobe Production Premium 5.5 on student discount and that has After Effect as well as other programs. Try that site.
I'm with Aquamorph on this one. It's actually quite easy to get accepted (especially if you're in the HSLDA).

Off topic note: You'll be getting it? :P

Hey, VanderFlame. Welcome to the forums. :)

You've been posting a lot today, and while that's fine so long as you have worthwhile contributions to add to the discussion, it's important to look at the dates on people's posts. This thread, for example, hadn't been posted in since last December. If you have something valuable to add, by all means do so, but if it's an old question and you don't have a suitable answer, it's better to hold off.

[guide] is pretty helpful, if you haven't perused it yet.
The student discounts on Adobe products are quite good.
Sean is wise, listen to him. ;)

i got the production premium (usually $1700) for $500 because of the student discount

ebay?
why wouldn't it be legal?
If your homeschooled no discounts are up for grabs.
WHat you can do is find someone who is a higher education school (university) or high school and ask them to buy it and you give them the money
