Do you recomend C910 or QCP9000?

$19.99 for one desk lamp? That is a rip off. I got mine for $8.99 and they look just like yours. If you can go to IKEA and get the lamps there. I got mine there and they work great. I found you need at least two for best lighting.

Here are my lamps:

Here is a test I did with their lighting and with a QuickCam Pro 9000:

I would recommend the QuickCam Pro 9000 over the Logitech C910 because it has great picture quality but does not have the problems UniLego mentioned above.

I have the Logitech C910, and I must say that it is an excellent camera. The biggest problems I face when using it are: the inability to turn off the lights on the front; the absence of white balance control; and the large focus integers, which make it harder to get a sharp focus.

As for the lighting. I use one of these lamps. (DO NOT twist the lamp more than 70 degrees in its socket. It WILL snap. :( ) It serves me pretty well in the flicker department, as long as I cover it with paper and don't touch it. Further more, Magix movie editor has the ability to decrease the light flicker slightly, although it won't fix major flicker.

Ok, so I need some new hardware (new lamps and maybe camera).

So first, the lamps. I have had some light flicker reasontly, and I don't know why. I think it is my lamps, but I'm not sure.
and yes, I have tried to have a black shirt, film on the night and have just my lamps and my computer on.

Second, camera. I have thinking to buy a Logitech HD Webcam C910. but I don't know if it is that good for brickfilming?
So, do it have the same software as the Quickcam 9000, so I can set it to manuel focus, etc.?

So yeah, hope you can help. :)
