First off, what isn't good about SMP Living Lego?

Second, if you're going to go straight into Dragon, you have to figure out if it's worth it. So, how long have you been animating? Since you're a beginner, you have to see if it's what you actually need. From what I've heard, it's an incredibly professional program. You have to think if to start off, you want a program with loads of buttons and gizmos, or something that will teach you to animate simply, and easily (this is from what I've heard). I would recommend Stop Motion Pro to a beginner, it's a much simpler program then Dragon. If you want to have a idea of both, then I suggest the free demos you can download off of the websites. Good luck! I hope you find what you need.

I can say that SMP is not very good, but I can't vouch for Dragon because I have never used it.

Haha, I thought Sean put that picture there because the bird looked a little puzzled. XD
Anyway, like everyone else, I suggest that you buy Dragon (even though you probably already bought it). I have SMP Junior and it was terrible. There was no image editing, not enough camera settings, and many other things.
