Thanks all! I think (after adding finishing touches) I'll release the official version without sound effects, also include an annotation link to an unlisted version WITH sound effects for people who still don't get it.

OFFICIALLY removed from youtube now, so consider yourselves lucky. I'm glad people found it as good as the pics I posted in this thread!

It works fine without the effects, it gives the film authenticity.

However, adding sound effects will give the film some extra "magic", and I'm curious to see how that would work out...

Either way, Great job!

That was awesome! I agree with Legogod, it needs sound effects were he falls. But i don't think it needs it anywhere else, it gives that authentic feel :) very well done.

Wow. Thanks bud, that's some deep feedback! :DD

You're right, I totally forgot about the real world interactions (he fell twice)... :/ I'll do those.
I don't really know why I did the clapping, I guess I was just trying out the movement of the animation for fun or something.

Anyone else?

It took a close watch, but as the video progressed I understood better what was going on. The animation where he walks through the door and hits a wall-very nice. I don't understand why the people clap when he first puts his foot forward. Are they awed at his new limits? Is he escaping what they thought was the glass box?

I think when the mime falls on the stage or interacts with a real part of the environment there should be a sound effect. I think there was one, but it was subtle and the music drowned it out. Sort of a one note toot.

The way it stands no sound effects are needed. I watched it twice to understand it fully and appreciated what you did that much more.

OKAY!!!

PLEASE VOTE!! I have the link to an unlisted video of Le Mime. THIS IS NOT THE FINAL VERSION so consider yourselves lucky to have a sneak peak. It's missing some dialogue, etc.

I need you to watch the video and tell me if you understood what was going on well OR if you need me to add sound effects THAT DEPICT WHAT THE MIME IS DOING (such as doorknob noises, or bangs on a wall).

So below, post a comment saying if it needs sound effects or not. These don't include audience noises. ALSO due to lack of time, I will only be finishing this part, there wont be a second part to this video unless I make it as a separate video sometime later.
In the second frame it's visible where the wall ends and the window of your room. Fix that and it's my favourite shot. Great to know you're working at a faster pace. I'm really looking forward to this.
Oh, don't worry. This hole video is cropped down to I believe 2.35:1 format. So not 16:9 but reaaaallly widescreen.

BAD news guys. No, the project isn't cancelled, but I just did a review session with my family and friends. I showed them the final, finished half of the film (It has two parts, so one is done now), and they say they could not understand what the mime was doing.

So I will post two versions of the first part for a limited time (unlisted as well) to YouTube and put a link here. One version will have no soundeffects of the mime, and the second part will have soundeffects that help understand what the mime is doing. This is all I can do, because really, this is the best possible way to animate a lego to do mime stuff. There is no better way.

So essentially, you'll get to see the whole half of the film early AND help me get feedback on making the rest better, and the whole general film understandable. What do ya'll think?
