ahh, you should be able to find a filter then, as for the lines, i would do a quick test to see if the lines stay on the image or not, just to be sure.
Do those lines transfer to your still images as well, because it may just be for the live feed, I know what you are talking about, I just don't think its a problem, just an annoying side affect. As for the light flicker, if it isn't very bad you can run it through a deflicker filter in most editing software.
Ah, OK. I thought the lines went through the the images. Thanks alot! I will look for the deflicker :D
Well, ideally you would want image capture, or remote capture, so you don't have to touch the camera at all, but I don't know if that is supported by that camera, another thing you can do, though not quite as good, is to have it on tripod, which is a good thing to do anyways, and to secure the tripod to the floor, as for the lamps, I'm not sure, you would have to ask someone else :shifty:

What webcam do you have? and do you film in natural light, EG, in a room with windows, even if the blinds are closed

Also, Welcome to Bricks in Motion, I hope you find it a useful tool to get better at brickfilming, and it seems you are already finding your way around, so, congratulations. :)
Thanks. I have edited the post.. because I just remembered something about my camera that didn't make it good. So back to the webcam.. I always block out as much natural light as possible. I have a lamp, but it's like when I move it to shine on the webcam I see these lines on the live feed.. it's kind of weird..

I have a lamp on, ( no day light ) and when I veiw the camera in Monkeyjam is seems to be flickering ( live ) i dont know why because I turn off all the auto settings...

Also, does it matter if you use a orange lamp, or do you have to use white light.
