^ You've pretty much described every cliche every disaster movie has ever used, ever. Except for the hot chick sidekick.

I like the idea of the film being more about the survivors trying to rebuild their society rather than just fighting creatures and each other for survival. However, I don't know how feasible a character-driven piece like that would work in LEGO. Personally, I'd actually like to see you go in the other direction and make a parody that exploits all those cliches, but that's just me.

Perhaps you should try taking it big scale, put a few friends in New York city, Chicago or Seattle. For the characters, have a real brainy kind of guy, so he predicted the end, but no one believed him, so he made a shelter in a sewer system. Have the heroic type character, the bold, maybe cocky kind of guy, he was always skeptical about the end, but his research proved him wrong. Try to make their age range around 29-32, and that they work at a University, and try to make as if there are several groups of survivors, and these guys are on the mission to find them....MAYBE after the meteor hit Earth, it caused Radiation spikes, mutating some survivors, that way you can incorporate some horror into your film, and have it like the films that will make you "Sit on the edge of the seat!" It's just an idea, and I hope it helps! :D

Hi BIM,
I was thinking about doing my first brickfilm about a group of people who survive a meteor hitting earth and they wind up trying to create a new world order with other survivors, Kind of like If we wound up living, any way I hit a snag and can't think of any ideas for locations and characters(don't think I spelt that right) so I decided to involve the community, if I use your idea I'll give you credit.
