A second hand one maybe? Make sure you test it first though.
A few years ago (probably about 2007) I bought my first video camera. It was a Sumsung DV and it cost $300 AUS, this was a bare basic video camera for the time and it cost that much, the same thing would probably be cheaper these days.

It's a really good camera-I tested it and the quality was better than our £300 Sony Camcorder. DEFINITELY worth the money.

Canon ZR 960. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=174&modelid=18004 You can also use this for brickfilming too so plus advantage on 2 cameras.
EDIT: Wal-Mart/Bestbuy seem to have these in stock. Also look at the FS series from canon http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ProductCatIndexAct&fcategoryid=173

I said a "decent" camera, not a good one. However, I realize there might not be much at all in the $100-150 range. How about the $200-250 range?

Unfortunately, to get a GOOD camera you need to increase that price-range. There are many cameras that CAN be decent at $100 but hard to find, in this situation even a good photo-camera costs $218 or so. I suggest that if you are limited to $100-150, try saving up for a while and try to purchase something "worth your buck."
If you will aim a little higher my favorite and personal choice would be the Canon Mini DV ZR950, or the newer models, it works great, and isn't that expensive, but if you'll get the leather bag, then you're going a little over sensible price region...
Good Luck with your Camera Hunting! :DD

Me and Scypax are planning on co-producing music videos, but there's one little problem. I'm doing the filming, and I don't have a video camera besides my QCP9K. So I was wondering if any of you could recommend a decent camera for live-action films for around $100-150.

Thanks!
