Watch the opening scene of Quantum of Solace while you're at it. Rest of the film sucked. Don't waste your time. Casino Royale (the Daniel Craig one, not the Peter Sellers parody) might also provide some ideas if the chase is on foot.

I know you didn't ask for feedback on the concept, but I'm giving it anyway: the plot, as you've described it, leaves a lot of question marks. Namely, what exactly is transferred to this new body? His soul? How? And cloning is not copying. Once you clone a person, the clone has to grow up just like any other human. So unless the disease takes 20 years to kill him, he'd be transferred into a child version of himself. If you want to invent a technology where bodies can be instantly copied, that would work, but it's not "cloning" by the current definition.
Oh, silly me, I seemed to have left out some important parts. He has been waiting for his clone for a half year, because this takes place in the future, where people have found growth acceleration. I forgot to mention all of this because the scientist explains it to the main character as he shows him his clone. Also, his consciousness is transferred into the clone. I don't exactly know how that is supposed to work, but hey, its the future. The reason why his older body is still working and thinking is because he left a bit of his consciousness inside it. Also, his clone is healthy because he requested it before he was sick. I hope that clears things up. I'm rather forgetful, so tell me if anyone still doesn't understand anything. :P

I've been reading a lot of books on cloning lately, and Ive been inspired to make a brick film on the subject. Here is a basic story:

There is one man with a terrible, incurable disease. Unable to accept the fact that he is dying, he volunteers to have his body be cloned and inhabit a the new, healthy body, and leave his old body to rot, for an experiment by a brainy old scientist. When he finds out that the experiment is successful, he finds the doctor shot in the head, and his other body, very much alive. His old body rebels, because of his old inability to accept death. Then, there is a long cat-and-mouse chase where the police get involved. I won't spoil the end for you guys.

What I need is some help making the cat-and-mouse chase interesting. Like, adding more conflicts and ideas to make it interesting. I also need help on making the story make more sense. :P I hope explained it well here.
