Cheers, yeah, I was thinking of starting from the ground up and next time I'll throw in some masking and a 2v1 sort of thing.
Also I have worked out why the 'stick' is visible in some bits... It is because when I went to split a track in Vegas, it split everything along that line, and so every frame where the FX were split, the stick can be seen... and I don't know how to split just one track (if you can)
(Anyone with Vegas will understand)

Thanks :)
You have to make active the video what you are splitting.
You must click one time on the footage to make it active.

You're welcome. :P

It was good, but the action was lacking a little. They didn't move around too much, they just stood and whacked at each other with the occasional spin thrown in. The FX were OK, but the lightsaber broadened to much when it moved only a little.

Overall it was a good first try :) ! 3/5

Youtube Link

So I guess this is my 'entry' to the Animation Duel, because I don't expect that I'll be making another one (Or atleast before the deadline)

I was pretty happy about this, until youtube decided to ruin my quality and make the 'stick' visible in some frames, which didnt happen before-hand.

Also this included my first pan shot, and my first camera movements (the first 1 sucked, the 2nd was OK)

Youtube Description:

A little lightsaber duel/test that I created, quality is a bit 'meh' due to video compression, youtube etc, and some parts are rushed (the audio, and the last shot). But overall I am (fairly) happy with the lightsaber duel itself.

Also for some reason the 'stick' of the lightsaber is visible sometimes? It didn't do this before-hand...

I was going to put SFX on (I was actually about a quarter of the way through it). But it was taking so long I just put music over the top, which also doesn't really fit, but I guess it's OK.

This also involves my first pan shot, and my first (2) camera movement shots (The first one sucked, I know. But the other one was OK)
EDIT: Bearing in mind that this is also my second proper animation (ever)
