In about 2006, Before i started Brickfilming, i made 'Live-action-Stuff'.
It was more likely a serie. Every day, i hosted a little 2 minutes long serie at my old Website.
It really stinked. Me and my Friend was 'Trying' to be serious, But it always turned out, in the last 20 Seconds to:
''I loove my Baaarrrtthhh''.
The show did never get popular, as you can assume.

@Infurno:

Well that's very interesting. And it actually sounds like something I would watch. x) For my first Lego videos, I drew a background as well...and I didn't use any platform to make them walk, just my desk surface, which I made a "ground" for. I recall wanting to make a ship (Jedi Starfighter) take off...so I tied fishing wire to it to make it do the trick. Looked pretty good at the time. But that was only about 2 years ago. x) I am fairly new to animation, I guess.

What you did sounds pretty creative! :D

I filmed myself playing with my Batman dolls. I didn't even attempt at doing animation, my hands were all over the screen.
Interesting! :)

How long ago was that?
I think it was when I was about 8 years old. It was sometime before Lego Studios was released. The sets were drawings that I drew myself and then put the characters in front of it. Same for the props, except for the ones I had. Like the batmobile. I can't recall the story anymore, but I remember that I used some creative techniques to do effects. In one shot, I wanted to have Batman jump and I managed to keep my hands outside the frame. I attached a small wire to the doll, overexposed the set a bit and then filmed in front of a white background, so wire was practically invisible. I wasn't able to do editing, this was recorded immediatly on VHS so for the titles I came up with a simple idea. I wrote them in MS Word, printed them and then pasted them onto my closet and then I tilted the camera from top to bottom over the titles, so I looked like the credits were actually scrolling on screen.
I don't know if I still have the original VHS, I haven't watched at my old VHS's for ages. I think I'll go and have a look when I'm back home.
