Congratulations to the winners, the winning entries were all well made. As I've said before I really feel like nobody rose to the challenge of this contest to try to make something scary except The Monkey's Paw by Olsonstudios, we got comedies instead, so that's a disappointment to me, but they were nice videos.
well you know it's kind of hard to enter a scary film if there can't be any violence.
lol...anyway, congrats to the winner, filmyguy, your entry totally deserved to be on the top 3...Hazzat, I loved the pig's invasion, and bodville, ghost train was really entertaining...I thought the monkey's paw would be at least 3rd, but, well, congrats olsonstudios for the 4th place....

Right, and the rule was only against gore or really graphic violence. The majority of the most frightening stuff I've seen in films doesn't rely on gore or even violence to be effective. (To go back to the Hitchcock example, the murder scene in Psycho never shows Crane getting stabbed)

I don't mean to totally slam the winners or anything, just saying that I wish we'd gotten some more attempts at making something unsettling or frightening.

Tell that to Alfred Hitchcock. And then tell me how you talk to dead people.

Wow I seriously did not expect to place. Thanks BIM, free Lego bricks rule.
Congrats to the other winners they were great entries. Zombie pigs are classic.
There was some great animation in filmyguy's entry. Some of the lighting wasn't the best (the same could be said about Ghost Train).
Overall it was very well done. I'm really going to have to lift my game. The lights I use are terrible.

The next AniExer should be love, it's all we need.
