The problem isn't that it's too hard to organize; it's actually quite possible to organize and direct a feature length film as long as you spend enough time on doing it. The more fundamental and underlying problem is that most individual brickfilmers are pretty unorganized and don't take orders well at all. This is what I found out when I tried doing a community project with around 10 animators. All of them were enthusiastic in the first week, but as soon was I tried to get some work done with them over half of the animators never returned any of my messages, emails etcetera.

So yes, it's a pretty impossible feat to pull off but it's not necessarily because of a lack of motivation from the director's side.

This was posted like a week ago. Like BG said, but in lighter terms, this won't work. It's just too hard to organize. Especially because you are not recognized nor are you (sorry to say) good enough to attempt a community collaboration.

Sorry, it just won't work.

This post was done with a while ago by a different brick filmer because only a few people wanted to do his idea although I was a little to late for him I think we really should make a full length movie in lego form if we get brainstormers for the production so that they could try and find how it would work out and the plot, and if we found a lot of voice actors and edited the sound a lot. If we also got a director and a few co directors some editors, and some visual effect editors and everything I think it would all work out and we would have a lot of fun together and get to know everyone really good please list below what you think and if you want to be a part of this masterpiece!
